Some treatment options for sinus conditions may include:
- A course of antibiotics
- Sinus irrigations
- Steroid medications
If relief has not been achieved with previous treatments or if the CT scan indicates chronic sinus disease or obstruction of the sinuses, sinus surgery may be warranted and recommended.

- Evidence of chronic sinusitis
- Sinus disease resulting from fungal infections

- Structural abnormalities of the nose or sinuses
- Sinus infection affecting the bone
