Aftercare 

After your fitting appointment, you will be sent home with your new hearing aids so you can try them out and get used to them. It is advisable to wear them as much as possible when you first get them. The leaflet you are given will supply information on how to turn them on and off, how to change the batteries, and how to operate them using the controls and buttons. 

It is so important you remove your hearing aids at the end of each day and place them in the case, don’t just put them on the side; they could get damaged. You should wash your earmold at least once a week to keep it clean. The main hearing aids are not waterproof, so you must remove them when you shower or go for a swim.
